Obama finally starts speaking the truth
During a Google hangout Thursday night, President Barack Obama was asked about his administration deporting “record numbers” of illegal immigrations during his first term. His poorly phrased response sounded more like something you might expect from Vice President Joe Biden.
“This is something I’ve struggled with throughout my presidency,” Obama said. “The problem is that I’m the president of the United States, I’m not the emperor of the United States. My job is to execute laws that are passed.”

The problem is that Vine of Life got the story wrong. Obama didn’t complain about not being emperor. He didn’t say he should be. He said presidents must stick to the law.
And you disagree. Out of genuine belief that the president should be emperor you disagree, or because you didn’t bother to see what he actually said?

Obama was not speaking about his needing dictatorial powers. He was arguing for his enforcement of laws requiring deportation of aliens who lack permits or whose permits have expired.
By your criticism of Obama’s stand, may we assume you ask for an immediate cessation of such deportations?
What IS your view on immigration that pushes you to defend such a grotesquely erroneous report?

“Above my pay grade” wasn’t that an answer he gave for a similar question during candidacy?
