Sometimes, I really hate Facebook. It brings out the side of people that we really don’t want to see; it gives power to those that think they have power…or think they should have power, which is kinda scary. There’s some mud slingin’ again and it bends me up. Prolifers should be saving the unborn, not furthering their personal agenda. If you want to hang out with like-minded folks, then you should. I prefer to be with my Evangelical and Catholic friends and partners in Prolife. When it comes to church, we are stanchly Evangelical. But we want to have the same end of the story…and end to abortion.
Yes, this has everything to do with the Prolife Movement. We have been blessed to be enrapt with Catholic friends (besides Evangelicals) in Prolife Ministry seeing that we also have opinions and a voice very close to theirs regarding saving our unborn at our abortion facility and within our community. We have a special bond that most do not have because we have chosen to respect each other and love the other for their fervency. But such is not the case for everyone.
As I have mentioned a bazillion times before, I AM AN EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN – I AM NOT A PROTESTANT or CATHOLIC. A quick overview of what an Evangelical is: Simply, a true Evangelical believes [because the BIBLE SAYS SO] in justification by FAITH ALONE: “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God,” (Rom 5:1-2).
I know…you’re thinking….THOSE DARNED EVANGELICALS TAKING EVERYTHING THE BIBLE SAYS LITERALLY. And to that I say that it is part of our ‘reasonable service’ (Rom 12:1).
Yes, this has everything to do with the Prolife Movement…..and here’s why: Way too often we Evangelicals get a bit ruffled with major denominations running with the ball while we Evangelicals are just trying to get in the game. NOW, while I do agree with the argument, I do not believe it is a reason to cause division in the case of saving the unborn. In other words, we are in this movement TOGETHER.
AGAIN, while I am not a Catholic, Presbyterian, or ‘other’, it is not up to me to bring Church to the game NOR SHOULD THEY. But, they do, and we are chastised for being fervent in our Faith and essentially cast down as heretics. All that being said, we are not doing a great job catching flies with vinegar:
“And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh.” James 3:6-12, NKJV
BLESSING AND CURSING is coming out of the mouths of men and women who demean and demoralize Evangelicals with man-appointed saints and other sundry things, ‘If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book’ (Rev 22:18-19) I thought is evidence enough? Yes, it is because THOSE DARNED EVANGELICALS TAKE EVERYTHING THE BIBLE SAYS LITERALLY. There, I said it….the 66 Books of the Bible are literal; nothing to add OR take away to justify anything, unless you really want to make God mad.
Remember, I am a Minister FIRST, Prolifer SECOND. Evangelical Ministers seek to save the lost, not stir the pot in other kitchens unless provoked. Anyway…
You see, Evangelical Prolifers have noticed the marked line and we are made to feel that we are not needed or wanted because of our ideology. When we have the gall to ‘note those who cause divisions and offenses’ (Rom 16:17) as the BIBLE says, then we’re suddenly the bad guy. Out of your mouths come ‘blessing and cursing’ just as it does ours. We’ll pray about it for those that cause true division in the cause for unborn life as well as keeping other people from getting in the game. Causing ‘anything by which your brother stumbles’ (Rom 14:21) can make that person get away from the Faith, much less Prolife Ministry. Words hurt and offend.
Yes, this has everything to do with the Prolife Movement because women that abort identify with either Catholic, Protestant or Evangelical….over 75%….and we’re fighting over who gets to them first. Where were we in the first place? Were we in their Churches preaching to them? NO. Most people in Prolife Ministry are not ministering AT ALL.
‘My brethren, these things ought not to be so’ (Ja 3:10), but they are. It is the ‘brethren’ we need to be concerned about, it is our own that we need to expel this curse of picking on other ministries when we have the plank in our own eye (Mat 7:3).
Yes, this has everything to do with the Prolife Movement….because today, at least 4000 more unborn children will die from abortion while ‘prolifers’ duke it out. Incredible. The 40th year of Roe is here and Prolifers are still bickering with each other. LOUD AUDIBLE SIGH.

You know what!!! I am a child of the Living God. Yes, I attend a messianic Congregation. I believe all that my G_d has written. I trust him, I love him, and I try with all of my heart to obey his Word.
Derek Prince, a number of years ago wrote the Book “Blessings and Curses”. He did an awesome job and others don’t seem to grasp on it as he did.Most of his books should be classics.
My Father wants all of us to come together UNDER Him. I am not talking One World Religion , I am not “religious” . That was for the Pharisees. I am just trying to follow my Father and help others to do the same.

Perhaps if abortion was not an option ,moral behavior would be more regulated , sex would be considered to be in the private world of marriage and commitment, and responsible behavior would be followed in society. Of course this attitude would be ridiculed as old fashioned,outmoded..but the essential basis of family in society never will change, people should accept this as what we would all like to grow up in, a dedicated family unit of father and mother. Perhaps Freud had the idea of sexuality as the prime mover in psychology is wrong, perhaps the need to feel the love of the father and mother united is the real prime mover.
I agree, Lance. Yes, women were practically killing themselves from infections and all sorts of things when they found people to do it illegally (that was their original excuse for legalizing abortion), but hey, if you’re going to murder someone, especially a helpless unborn baby, then you take that risk. A nation where murder is legal…where nine times out of ten, abortions happen because of inconvenience, or a woman doesn’t want to lose her figure, or whatever. Yes, this nation..this world..would be a far better place. People have abused the word freedom in this nation…and turned it around so that freedom now means oppression.
I am Evangelical Hebrew, a Levite Priest, standing FIRMLY on basic tenets, “Choose life, that both you and your descendants may live…Choose life and blessing…YHWH formed my inward parts, YOU covered me in my mother’s womb…I am fearfully and wonderfully made…My frame was not hidden from YOU when I was made in secret…YOUR eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed…Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you…Before the foundation of the earth I predestined you…fore-ordained you…You are not your own, you are bought at a price…redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.” Further, YHWH says, “The innocent blood cries out…Also on your skirts is found the blood of the lives of the poor innocents. I have not found it by secret search, but plainly.” If YHWH has said NOT to do it and we do it ANYWAY, “There remains only a certain fearful expectation of judgment.” When you “choose death,” cursing comes with it, “The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants. Because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore the curse has devoured the earth.” Isaiah 24:5 is specific. “YHWH is not mocked, for whatever (man) sows, that shall he also reap…When a nation sins against ME by persistent unfaithfulness, I will stretch out MY hand against it…YHWH has numbered your kingdom and finished it;…You have been weighed in the balance and found wanting…” America is “Babylon, the great harlot that sat on many waters…none of the wicked shall understand, only the wise shall understand”
Amen Evelyn. You go girl! I’ve always thought either America was the great Harlot, Babylon..or New York. America anymore is as a brazen whore….
