Under new decree, all stamps, signs, and official letterheads will be changed to bear the title
Palestinian Authority President Abbas signed a presidential decree changing the name of the Palestinian Authority to the “State of Palestine,” following the Palestinians‘ upgraded status at the United Nations as a non-member observer state.
According to the decree, reported by the official Palestinian news agency Wafa Thursday night, all stamps, signs, and official letterheads will be changed to bear the new name.
The move was one of the first concrete, albeit symbolic, steps the Palestinians have taken following the November 29 decision by the United Nations General Assembly to upgrade their status to nonmember observer state.
Last month, the United Nations officially changed the way it refers to the Palestinians’ entity, from “Palestine” to the “State of Palestine.”
The name change was based on an opinion by the UN’s legal department. The UN’s head of protocol, Yeocheol Yoon, confirmed that “the designation of ‘State of Palestine’ shall be used by the Secretariat in all official United Nations documents.”
The UN’s official list of all permanent missions in New York has since been updated to reflect the name change. It used to refer to the “Permanent Observer Mission of Palestine.” Now, the so-called Blue Book speaks of the “Permanent Observer Mission of the State of Palestine.”
The head of the Palestinian UN mission, Riyad Mansour, had requested the name change on December 12.

Do you know what’s so ironic here? Once the Muslim Brotherhood “Hamas” gets a firm foot hold in the Mideast, they will wipe out the so called falsely self labeled ethnic group the Palestinians…The Arabs despise them, and have even recently called them dogs by Morsi…Saddam was the only dictator who allowed them entrance into his country and only because he was giving refuge to the suicide bombers family and was paying them $10.000 in American money to kill Jew’s…When he fell, the Iraqi’s went on a Palestinian killing spree, they tried to reenter Palestine through Turkey, Syria, Jordan and Egypt and was turned away at each border, where instead they had to make refugee camps, which were later torn down and they were scattered, They aren’t Arabs, and they are hated, the only reason they were tolerated were because they killed Jew’s…But be watchful, the more the Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah step up attacks on Israeli’s, the more persecuted are the so called Palestinians…Hamas and the brotherhood have got to have the West Bank in order to fulfill their goal of completely cutting off Israel and Abbas is in the way of that and he will not be welcomed to the party, except mind you, the killing party, and they will be the target, not the Jew’s….
The Arabs want to surround Israel for one reason, to intimidate them into surrendering Jerusalem and making it the Capital of Palestine, can you imagine the celebrations in the Mideast if that were to happen and it will happen too, and they may just be able to do that, we do know that at some time, Israel allows the Antichrist to set upon the Temple Throne within Jerusalem and it’s my guess that at some time, there are going to be a deal made in order to preserve Israel, which we know will be a false peace???
But these strategic moves are being made today and the Palestinians most surely are in the way and will be dealt with…
