BECAUSE OUR WORLD DOES NOT UNDERSTAND FALLEN ANGELS IT IS OFTEN HELPLESS IN DEALING WITH EVIL POWERS. Every direction you look you see the terrible effects of the dark world of Satan and his multitude of fallen angels. The nature of these spirits is religious and every act of deception has a religious twist. The single purpose of all evil powers is to get you to love this world and to subtly worship at the altar of flesh and worldliness. Please remember that your flesh is Satan’s altar.
Never in history has the flesh of men and women been glorified as we see today. When you are utterly taken up with your flesh you are worshipping exactly as Satan has planned. Look at the many altars that have come to control our world:
* Sex is no longer true love but lust.
* Glamour is no longer pretty but twisted.
* Wealth is no longer security but obsession.
* Pleasure is no longer fun but bondage.
* Possessions are toys instead of blessings.
The world has wrapped a noose around the necks of people and used them for the systems of control. Freedom to live free and clean is almost unknown. The world is possessed with itself because Satan is the “god of this world.” (II Corinthians 4:4)
There is no background or support in the Bible for any creatures of darkness except fallen angels. We see the entire world under judgment of Satan and the spirits of his kingdom are cast out of heaven in Chapter Twelve. “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” (Revelation 12:7-10) This scripture shows the complete casting out of all spiritual forces of evil at this point.
We see this same multitude of spirits along with the men that take the Mark of the Beast cast into the Lake of Fire. “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.” (Revelation 19:20-21) The only entity named from the wicked forces of darkness after this point is Satan himself and he is cast also into this Lake of Fire.
Angels are called “stars” beginning with the First Chapter of Revelation. “The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.” (Revelation 1:20) Then we see the fallen angels connected to Satan in Revelation Chapter Twelve and they are called “stars.” “And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.” (Revelation 12:3-4) This is strong indication that Satan was able to lure one third of all the angels to rebel with him and he clearly controls their destiny.
We must learn that these evil spirits are utterly everywhere casting their net for each of us. Every dark thought has a source in evil powers. Our fallen flesh is the key place of their attack against us. None of their powers can defeat us nor destroy us unless our flesh submits to them. The Scripture warns us “to give no place to the devil.” He has no right that you do not give him. You are only his robot if you commit to him and most of our world has made that mistake. Unknowingly in many cases.
Listen to the great victory that the Apostle Paul shared with us. “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” (II Corinthians 10:3-6) This is the greatest picture of spiritual victory in the Epistles. We walk in the flesh, yes, but we must learn to war by the Holy Spirit in us. We absolutely have nothing to fear.
The Bible says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you..” (James 4:7) It’s wonderful to know that Satan will flee from us if we first submit to God. Without God, you are hopeless and helpless and will at Satan’s opportune time be attacked and destroyed. The Bible says that, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (I Peter 5:8)Jesus Christ is the one single victory for your soul. He is either your Lord or you will allow Satan or one of his spirits to become your lord.
