Just a quick thank you to all of my readers and commentators (and likers…even though I know some of you are just showing your support without reading!  LOL!  It’s okay..I understand.  We can’t read everything, but when we see a good title, and we’ve read enough of someone’s blog to know we like what they put out, it’s okay to like because it shows our support in what that person is doing!  Nothing wrong with that!)

I want you to know how much I appreciate your support, your comments, your kindness…and you!  You are very special to me, all of you.  I want you ALL to know that I love you very much in Christ and it is my will to help strengthen you in Him in the coming days ahead.  God has called me to preach repentance, which is a very difficult thing to preach because so many people don’t want to know they are not living in Christ as they should.  They don’t want to hear about it, don’t want to know about it, and don’t want to talk about…let alone, think about it.  But you are so important to me that I am willing to possibly make you upset with me, or misjudge me as an unkind person for being so bold.  Do know this…everything I preach to you, I’m preaching to myself as well.

We all have our struggles, including me.  What God’s Word says applies to all of us.  No one is exempt.  God loves us all so very much!  He loves each and every one of us personally, in our own special ways.  He wants you to know how much He loves you.  He is not up there waiting for you to slip up so He can zap you.  Rather, He is up there watching you slip up, waiting for you to come to Him, one on one, and admit the truth to Him..that you messed up.  In so doing, He is also ready to help you, if you want it.  He is ready to forgive you and heal you of whatever sinful thing you’ve been in bondage to.  But you must come to Him broken, and with an honest, humble heart.

Let’s focus this upcoming year on two things: getting ourselves completely right with our heavenly Father by being obedient, making no excuses for our sin, but admitting these things we do are NOT okay and need changed.  Secondly, let’s focus on leading other people to repentance and to salvation in Jesus Christ our Lord.  We can’t change the judgment that we are going to begin seeing (and already have been seeing) poured out on this world.  However, we can change the number of souls that DO NOT spend eternity in hell by telling them the Good News of Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, and Son of the living God..and that the Holy Spirit is available to them for the asking.

Go the extra mile.  If you lead someone to Christ, be a support system for them.  Oftentimes, someone gets saved and then, after a short time, goes right back to where they were, having little to no support, direction, or education in His Word.  Teach them, admonish them, communicate with them, pray for and with them…instruct them and teach them in the ways of the Lord.  Finish what you started!  This is important!
