Should Jerusalem be Divided/What does God say?

I watched a video by Walid Shoebat tonight, and he pointed out some amazing things in the Bible about the dividing of Jerusalem.  As I was watching, it made perfect sense.  These are the things about Palestine demanding a state at the UN and their demands that Jerusalem should be their capitol.

First let’s look at Daniel chapter 11 starting at verse 36.  This talks about the Antichrist.  ”He will exalt and magnify himself above every God and will say unheard of things against the God of gods.  He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place.  Verse 37 tells us that he will show no regard for women’s desires.  Verse 38 tells us he will honor a god of fortresses, for gain.  Verse 39 tells us he will divide the land for gain.  Well if you think about this, as he pointed out, Antichrist wants to divide Israel (Jerusalem), the Palestinians want to divide Israel(Jerusalem).

But God say’s no.  In Ezekiel God told him to take a stick of wood and write on it, “Belonging to Judah and the Israelites associated with him.  Then take another stick and write on it “Ephraim’s stick belonging to Joseph and all the house of Israel associated with him, then join them together into one stick so they become one in Ezekiel’s hand.  God told Ezekiel to tell everyone,  that the Lord said He was going to join Ephraim and Judah into one, He would gather them back from the nations and will make them one nation with one King over them all, and they will never again be divided into two kingdoms.  Amazing.  God said Never Again would they be divided.  Not never divided until the end times or until the Palestinians want it that way.  God said never again.

There are many passages in the Bible dealing with enemies, or those who come against Jerusalem.  Like Zechariah chapter 12.  verse 2 says “I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling, Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem.  On that day when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations.  All who try to move it will injure themselves…

Now Walid Shoebat say’s to learn how to question like Jesus.  This is very interesting, and very good advice.  He gives this example:  ”While talking to a Muslim friend, I asked him,  the Palestinians want to divide Jerusalem, the Antichrist wants to divide Jerusalem, God say’s no, so whose side are you on?”  See the beauty of that question?  I agree, we must learn to question like Jesus.  We must learn to search out the truth in God’s word.   This is significant for us as we are on the cusp of Jerusalem being divided.  This president has already said that Israel should return to it’s pre-1967 borders, with concessions.

Hamas, Hezbollah, and Abbas, and Egypt (Muslim Brotherhood)  have all said, that Jerusalem will be their capitol or there will be no peace.  So according to God’s word, we’re in for a bumpy ride as prophecies unfold regarding this.   This is not a matter of interpretation as some would argue.  It’s a matter of what God’s word say’s.  I encourage everyone to search out God’s word for themselves, to ask for guidance, wisdom and knowledge from the Holy Spirit.  Don’t take anyone else’s word for it, search it out for yourself.  But read the whole word, not just pieces and parts.  God Bless and guide you.

I’m including the video from Walid Shoebat Titled Islam in the Bible below.
